Chocolate Chip Cookies
1 cup softened butter
2 1/3 cups unsifted flour
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar
2 tsp vanilla
1 tsp salt
1 tsp baking soda
1 (12 oz) package chocolate chips
Preheat oven to 275. Cream together butter, sugars, eggs and vanilla until fluffy.
Combine flour, salt and baking soda and stir into creamed mixture. Stir in chocolate
chips. For variety, add 1 cup walnuts or 1 cup shredded coconut. Drop from teaspoon
2" apart on ungreased cookie sheets. Bake for 10 minutes. Makes 6 dozen.
