Chow Mein

1 pork chop
6 shrimp
1 onion, sliced
3 stalks celery, chopped
1 can mushrooms, sliced
1/2 can bamboo shoots
1/2 water chestnuts, sliced
1 lb bean sprouts
2 tbsp cornstarch
1 tbsp soy sauce
2 tsp chicken base
Water
Chopped green onions

Slice pork chop sideways into small slices and fry. Clean shrimp and have ready. Put pork grease in Wok. Let oil get real hot, add shrimp and stir constantly for a few minutes, then add onion and celery. Cook for a short time. Add mushrooms, bamboo shoots, water chestnuts, bean sprouts. Cook until bean sprouts look transparent. In pan where pork chops were fried, add cornstarch, soy sauce, chicken base and water. Mix until smooth. Add mixture to wok and cook a few minutes longer. Put wok on table with warmed Chinese noodles (from a can) and top with green onions.
