1 1/2 cup flour
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 cup shortening
1/3 cup cold water
Peel potatoes and onions. Let them soak in water 1 hour. Cut meat and potatoes into cubes.
Chop onions. Add chopped parsley. Roll out dough for each individual pastie. Add mixture
of meat, potatoes, onions, parsley, salt and pepper onto pie dough. Add a generous slice of
margarine to keep filling moist. Fold pie dough into a meat pie and place in greased pan.
Bake at 400 for 1 hour; reduce heat to 350, bake additional 1/2 hour.
