Bobbi's Christmas Almond Cookies
2 cups margarine (or 1 cup butter or Crisco)
1 cup sugar
1 cup almonds (ground)
1 tsp vanilla
4 cups sifted flour
Cream margarine with mixer. Add sugar, almonds and vanilla and blend. Add flour
little by little with spoon as mixture gets thick. Take pieces and form into balls
about the size of a walnut. Flatten to about 1/4" on a cookie sheet with a spoon.
Bake at 350 until pale golden (they brown quickly). Cool on paper towels and dip in
powdered sugar.
