Becky's Applesauce Cake
1 cup shortening
2 eggs
1 1/2 cup sugar
2 tbsp corn syrup
3 1/2 cups flour
1 tsp nutmeg
1 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp cloves
1 tbsp soda
1/2 tsp salt
2 cups applesauce
1 cup raisins or mincemeat
1 cup nuts
Combine ingredients, bake at 300 for 1 1/2 hours.
