Dill Pickles

Dill
Garlic
Red or green hot peppers
Cucumbers
2 quarts water
1 quart distilled or cider vinegar
1 cup non-iodized salt


In each quart jar add: 1 head fresh dill, 2-3 cloves garlic, 1 small red or green hot pepper. Select fresh, firm cucumbers. Wash and pack in jars. Boil water, vinegar and salt. Pour hot solution over cucumbers and seal. Pickles will be ready in 3-4 weeks depending on the size of the cucumbers.
