Ilene's Chocolate Cake

2 cups brown sugar
2/3 cup shortening
2 eggs
4 heaping tbsp cocoa
2 cups flour
1 pinch of salt
2 tsp baking soda
1/2 cup sour milk

Cream sugar and shortening, add eggs and beat. Combine cocoa, flour, salt, soda and add alternately with sour milk. When batter is done add 1 cup of boiling water and bake in moderate oven (350) for 25 minutes.
