Coconut Macaroons

1 package (7 oz) shredded coconut
1/3 cup unsifted flour
1/8 tsp salt
2/3 cup unsweetened condensed milk (not evaporated milk)
1 tsp vanilla


Preheat oven to 250 (very low). Grease 2 large cookie sheets. Combine coconut, flour and salt in a medium sized bowl. Stir in condenses milk and vanilla until ingredients are thoroughly moistened. Drop dough by teaspoon about 1" apart on prepared cookie sheets. Bake in preheated very slow oven for 35 minutes or until golden brown. Remove to wire racks with a spatula. Cool.
