Shrimp for Cocktails and Salads

Plunge frozen shrimp into boiling salt water. If desired, add additional seasoning such as bay leaf, parsley, celery and rosemary. After water returns to a boil, cook shrimp no longer than five minutes. Drain, remove shell and sand vein with pointed knife. Chill and serve in salads, cocktails.
