Candied Walnuts
1 cup sugar
1 tsp salt
2 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp nutmeg
1/2 tsp cloves
1/2 cup water
2 cups nuts
Cook sugar, salt, water and spices until mixture forms a soft ball when dropped in cold
water. (236 degrees). Remove from heat. Add nuts. Stir mixture until creamy. Pour
out on waxed paper and separate nuts.
